“Bring a Friend” Event at our June Members’ Meeting

12 June 2024  7:00 pm for pre-meeting chat, meeting begins at 7:30pm via ZOOM

We all have friends and family members who have expressed an interest in genealogy but just don’t know where to start. Why not invite them to our June Members’ Meeting where they can meet other BCGS members and discover all that the BCGS can offer them:

*Discounted membership ($40) for the balance of 2024, starting July 1st

*Online Members’ Resources on our website – including access to MyHeritage and, coming soon, NewspaperArchive.com. Our webmaster, Jan Graf, will give a short presentation highlighting the online resources available only to BCGS members.

·*Library and Research Centre – our Library Administrator, Eunice Robinson will give a short presentation on the many resources avaliable at our Library.

*Coffee Chats on a wide variety of topics

*Quarterly e-journal and semi-monthly newsletter

Our speaker at this meeting is Maurice Guibord, Director General, Societe historique Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique. He will be speaking on The Francophone Ranchers of the B.C. Interior Plateau, 1860s-1870s
