Sunshine Coast Family History Society members meet the third Tuesday of the month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm to share knowledge and resources. During pandemic times we use using a ZOOM format and email to communicate with members.

Annual dues are $20 for a full membership that includes being an affiliate member of the BCGS, use of our genealogical library plus many other shared perks as we have many experienced volunteers who are willing to help researchers of all levels.

The Sunshine Coast Family History Society started in 1995 on an informal basis, later changing to a more structured one with early members Noreen Tretick, Louise Walters and Lola Westell taking responsibility for managing the group. Over the years we have always been able to rely on the BCGS for help and guidance for our individual members as well as for us as a Society and highly recommend utilizing their many offerings as a Member.

The purpose of the Sunshine Coast Family History Society
is to promote and assist in the study of genealogy and family history.

Officers this year are Pres. Lola Westell, Sect. Joan Molidegei and Treas. Martin Henry.
Our Librarian and Program Coordinator is Robin Lowe.
